Cognitive Learning Strategies for Students (CLaSS)
Welcome to CLaSS
The aim of CLaSS is to improve your learning experience, telling you about your learning styles and how to adapt them to meet the demands of your course.
To do this, involves three processes:
- Identifying your learning style and approaches to learning - this is achieved by you completing 3 questionnaires, which will take you between 15-30 minutes, so please only begin if you have time to finish.
- Feedback - Once the questionnaires have been completed you will be directed to a page requesting your email address, (note: this is the email address you gave at the beginning of the questionnaires). Then you will be given your results from the questionnaires and some feedback identifying your strengths and your weaknesses in your learning and the learning strategies you use.
- Enhancement - The feedback will provide a link to information on how you could improve your learning and your learning strategies. The feedback will give you a clear idea of where to begin improving your learning experience.
Many students have used the CLaSS materials and have found it very useful and worthwhile. Many positive comments have been received. For example:
